The Two Turtles Duo is a jazz, pop, video game, and original music duo based in San Diego, California. Mike Reyes and Rafa Alvarez have been playing together since their time at San Diego State University in the early 2010s. They officially formed The Two Turtles Duo in 2021 and have since become a popular fixture in the San Diego music scene.
The duo is known for their eclectic and energetic live shows, which feature a mix of covers and original compositions. Their music is influenced by a wide range of artists, including Rodrigo y Gabriela, Carlos Jobim, and Chico Pinheiro.
In addition to performing live, The Two Turtles Duo has also released one album, "Crossing Over," which was released in May 2023. The album features their unique take on a mix of jazz standards and video game covers.

Mike Reyes is a freelance musician who electrifies every stage he steps onto with his eclectic mix of rock and jazz. He is a sought-after guitarist and performer, and his talents have been featured at an array of local theaters in San Diego, including OB Playhouse, Coronado Playhouse, San Diego Junior Theater, Diversionary Theater, and Moonlight Amphitheater.
